☆ EPIC : Just a Man
- THE TROY SAGA -
I decided to combine this audio with the section of the series where The Lady Bone Demon attempted in ruling the world. Taking important scenes which related to each character. For example, how Mei hold the Samadhi Fire within her, "when does a candle become a blaze". Or where Red Son became "the blame" because him and his family are the reason LBD got released in the first place. It was quite a tough decision to decide on if I should pair this audio with the part of the series I went with, or the part where Azure Lion almost destroyed the world. I also knew I wanted to layer audio. Including audio from the final interaction between MK and the Lady Bone Demon before she died. I struggled quite a lot with how to actually place the video as originally, it would play completely after the music had ended. However I felt this dragged out the edit longer than I would have liked. Eventually however I landed on layering the audio before the video started. This took quite some time to perfect as i had to then link the video up to the audio, essentially having to sync it perfectly back to its original video. (Like how you sync audio to lip syncing)

- THE CYCLOPS SAGA -
As I still wanted to do a section on Azure Lions short period or reign, I decided to pair this audio with snippets of the period of time. Again, making each part make canonical sense to the show itself. Though not in order of events. For example "Stand up and fight for your lives" I paired with the scene where the Celestial Army was about to fight Azure Lion alongside Yellow Tusk and Peng. The same idea goes for "Six hundred lives at stake". As ruling over the world as the Jade Emperor takes a lot of effort and energy, I decided to pick a scene where that was failing. Where the world was quite literally ripping apart. '600' lives at stake.
☆ EPIC : Wouldn't You Like
- THE CIRCE SAGA -
For this, although a little more abstract, I decided this audio would work well with Macaque and his overall theme. Though, as stated, a little more of an abstract reason as to why. Within the original audio Hermes is seen helping Odysseus to fight against Circe. Proving useful in a positive outcome. However, although Macaque did help MK and the gang in some sense to defeat the Lady Bone Demon "Wouldn't you like a taste of the magic" can be described as how despite his evil intent to steal the power which resided in MK at the time, it also helped push MK to find his true potential. though also showed reckless and dangerous. "I'll help you conquer her" references then to how later on, Macaque continuously both helped in aiding in the Lady Bone Demons defeat, but also damaged that chance. Though not given much choice by the LBD. This edit currently being my favourite out of the ones i've completed.
Ive Got a Bone - Oxygen Beats Remix

I decided on paring this song with The "Mayor" as with his relations to the Lady Bone Demon, essentially being her henchman until there was no more use for him, I felt it would be a good fit. As well as it sort of tying into the very random and chaotic energy which appear from both the character and the song. I wanted to get a little more creative with the text and found that as I had separated each word into its syllabus (example: "lit-tle hu-man"), that adding a fade onto each word gave it a quite nice flashy effect. Though as I did this 'after' already separating all the words, it was quite a tedious task as there is roughly 114 different text groups. This edit actually having the most text groups out of all of them.
Hot Wings : Rio
I didn't have much of a clear idea on what I wanted to do honestly. Though, I felt the audio mixed well with Red Son overall. His chaotic but energetic personality being executed well within the clips I chose. I had quite a struggle finding clips I felt worked together but eventually found something I enjoyed. I wanted to focus more on a short quick edit compared to the others which could be considered part animatic (a story board like animation placed over a full length or chosen length audio) and a edit (a short combination of videos or images, mixed with transitions). I felt quite happy with how it turned out despite its simplicity.

I felt it was important to show the ones I didn't manage to finish. Most of them turning out that way either due to a lack of motivation, or lack of ideas. it shows the sort of thinking process, and shows some reason behind why I may not have finished them.
Things to Do : Alex G
I wanted to create something with more 'angst'. Something that focused more on the negative parts of the show. Mostly being the 'angst' of the characters relationships. The original idea was supposed to focus on Macaque, Sun Wukong, MK, and Tang, as all of those characters had some form of negative relationship within the show. Macaques being his ruined friendship with Wukong, Sun Wukongs being that despite "wanting" to protect everyone, with the thousands of years he's been alive he's done a lot of damage. MK's being how he doesn't have a "real" family. No "real" place of birth. And Tang's being that for a lot of the time, he's seen more as a side character. Lacking in potential. We see this in the episode "benched" where he gets put on the side lines, though does prove his potential as he is the one who fights against macaque and retrieves the Ring Of Samadhi. though I stopped working on this as I found it quite hard to find any actual good quality clips which could portray each setting well.
☆ 3D : Sped Up
Again, I had a somewhat clear idea of what I wanted to accomplish. Focusing towards MK and Mei's friendship. I found it quite easy to find clips, especially from more recent episodes where they were both seen together more often. Really tying into the "duo" vibes. Though I found it quite hard to put the videos together. Leaving it at an odd point where the text was almost complete, and a failed attempt at creating an interesting transition. I still quite like the idea, but I feel if I pick up the project again I would do it quite differently. Maybe using earlier scenes within the show itself. I found the audio however, to also fit quite well. Finding it on a playlist which was semi-designed to be based around how the two act, on Spotify.
☆ Nether Zombie Pigman Rap
The idea originally being centred around Jin and Yin, their classic brother like bond and British accents, I then shifted the idea onto Porty MK. Originally, I wanted the video only to include of him, as I felt the audio fit well with his personality when looking at scenes of him throughout the show. However I struggled to find enough to fit the length of the song so decided to include scenes of Artist MK. Another one of MK's unique clones. Though I found it even harder to find scenes as the clones were seen very scarcely throughout the show itself. It was also partially designed to challenge myself to do what I usually did with the text, but with a much more challenging song to do it too. Though found myself struggling to simply put together the chunks of text which is not how I usually go about doing the text in the beginning stages, usually working word/syllable to word/syllable. I eventually lost motivation and interest in it mostly towards the end of putting together the clips as I had far less videos to input to the edit.
